Activity Flow

Materials: Socks or small cloth bags, rice, chickpeas, cotton, walnuts, spoons, paper, crayons.

Start the game by lining up colorful socks or small pouches on the table. Place materials with different textures inside each one without your child seeing. Then, ask your child to touch these mysterious bags and guess what is inside. Keep their curiosity alive with questions like "Do you think this is hard or soft?" or "Do you think the thing inside is food?"

After they make their guesses, let them draw the object they imagine on paper before seeing what is inside the bag. When the drawing is finished, open the bag together and compare it with the real object. You can celebrate this moment of discovery with a little dance.

As a result; while this activity sensitizes the child's sense of touch, it strengthens the skills of visualizing objects (cognitive development) and making predictions; it also supports fine motor skills.
