Activity Flow

Materials: Favorite music playlist, colorful ribbons or soft scarves.

Start by turning the living room into a dance floor. Hold the child's hand and tie a soft ribbon around your wrists, saying, "Now we are an inseparable duo!" When the music starts, walk around the room with giant fast steps or as slow as a turtle according to the rhythm. Support each other while trying to balance on one leg.

When the music stops suddenly, you both must freeze like statues. During this process, maintain eye contact and smile to ensure the child stays in harmony with you. You can increase the fun by adding funny instructions like "crab walk" or jumping together.

In conclusion; this activity improves the child's gross motor skills while strengthening their ability to follow directions and social adaptation.
