Super Body Detectives

Materials: Market brochures or magazines, scissors, glue, two large sheets of paper (or cardboard), marker.
Start an exciting detective game by examining market brochures together with your child. Ask them, "Which foods make our bodies strong like superheroes?" and "Which ones make us feel tired and weak?" As you cut out the foods you find in the brochures, chat about the benefits or harms of each one for our body. Afterward, draw a huge smiling face on one of the large sheets and a sad face on the other.
Create a giant chart by pasting the cut-out pictures onto the appropriate paper. Stick vegetables, fruits, and dairy products that strengthen us on the smiling face paper, and chips or sweets on the sad face. Meanwhile, encourage them to establish cause-and-effect relationships by asking questions like "What happens to our muscles if we eat this spinach?" Hang the finished chart in the best corner of the house.
As a result; while this activity develops your child's ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships and classification skills, it raises awareness of healthy nutrition and strengthens fine motor muscles through cutting and pasting.
