Activity Flow

Materials: Blue sheet or blanket, pillows, cardboard tube (toilet paper roll), various fruits, playdough, craft materials (paper, string).

First, spread a blue sheet in the middle of the living room to create a huge wavy sea, and stack pillows to build the mysterious and deserted island you need to reach. Get on an imaginary ship (a rug or sofa) with your child, rock from side to side to fight the waves, and set off towards the island. During the journey, use the telescope made from the cardboard tube to scan the horizon and increase the excitement by shouting, "Land ho!". When you arrive at the island, get off the ship and explore together to collect the fruits you hid beforehand in different corners of the room or behind pillows as part of the "food finding mission." At the end of the adventure, move to the table to examine your loot and design a tiny model of your dream island using playdough and craft materials; don't forget to give your island a funny name.

In conclusion; this activity nourishes your child's imagination and creativity, supports gross motor skills through movement during the boat trip and exploration, improves fine motor skills through model making, and strengthens their ability to follow instructions and spatial awareness.
